Our Story
As one of the leading local social enterprise in the Gboko Local Government Area, we committed to providing innovative stoves that use biomass briquettes, offering sustainable solutions for marginalized communities. Our focus is on poverty reduction and climate change mitigation at the same time. Through our business model, we seek to improve the quality of life, create local employment and reduce CO2 emissions through the use of renewable biomass.

AYO ANDREW ASAAGA
Founder
Ayo Andrew is the Executive Director and Founder of the Gboko Clean CookingStove Lab. He currently holds a National Diploma in Computer Science from Akwa-Ibom State Polytechnic, Ikepene-Isolu. He also has more than 7 years’ experience in driver’s education, web development, project management and lobbying projects. Prior to his role at GCCSL, he was the Project Manager at Children’s Basic Fundamental Rights Foundation in Gboko, Nigeria.
He is a currently a member of the Project Development Committee for the Global Youth Advocates Network (GYAN). He also acts as the state co-coordinator of the Unite 2030 Nigeria Chapter for the Benue State. His innovative work continues to shape and transform the lives of young people in his rural Gboko community.
Since founding Gboko Clean CookingStove Lab, Jesse Neimus has played a crucial role in the continued success of the business. Their exceptional skill set, true passion and creativity has inspired massive growth.
